Meet Aaron Lindsey!
Trumpeter
Aaron Lindsey is a professional trumpeter recently retired from military bands. Prior to starting his career in the military, he attended the Armed Forces School of Music in Norfolk, Va, earning an associate’s in music performance. As a military musician, Mr. Lindsey performed for three presidents, various dignitaries and multiple times on national television. He has also performed for multiple groups such as the latin band Orchestra Macuba, Southern Crescent Symphony Orchestra, Christian Brass, Jazz Journey Orchestra, Red River Brass, Cumberland Winds, Jazz Project, Nashville Praise Symphony, and the Badgett Playhouse Theater. Mr. Lindsey has also performed studio work in Maryland, Washington D.C. and Richmond, Virginia. Through the years of work as a performer, he has also maintained a private trumpet studio online and in person. Mr. Lindsey’s students have made high chairs in District Honor Bands and All-State Bands throughout the East Coast.
Students under his care have also received scholarships for colleges including the Manhattan School of Music. Mr. Lindsey takes great pride in his work and teaching ability as he continues to study and grow in his profession by taking lessons from Dr. Rob Waugh from Austin Peay State University.
