Overview

Why is Clarksville Music and Arts Academy considered Number one by so many‍?

What styles of dance do you teach?

We offer a variety of styles including jazz, hip-hop, ballet basics, contemporary, creative movement, salsa, and cultural/world dance—designed to give students a broad foundation and a chance to explore their personal style.

How qualified are your dance instructors?

Our dance instructors are experienced performers and teachers with professional backgrounds in multiple dance genres. They are passionate about teaching and committed to helping every student grow at their own pace.

What will I learn from the art lessons at the Academy?

Students will learn rhythm, musicality, choreography, flexibility, coordination, and performance skills. Each class also emphasizes teamwork, body awareness, and creativity—whether dancing solo or in a group.

Clarksville Music and Arts Academy’s Dance program blends fun, fitness, and technique in a vibrant, welcoming space. Students learn a variety of styles such as jazz, hip-hop, ballet basics, cultural/world dance, and contemporary movement. Classes focus on rhythm, coordination, choreography, and performance—while also building confidence, teamwork, and a love for movement. Whether your child is a first-time dancer or ready to grow, our instructors meet each student where they are.

What’s the #1 reason to study dance at the Academy?‍

The number one reason to study dance at the Academy is to experience the joy of movement while gaining discipline, coordination, and confidence in a positive and supportive environment.

My 9-year-old granddaughter is taking piano lessons from Mrs. Jackie Kelley. Mrs. Jackie is a wonderful, kind and understanding teacher.  She is very professional and knows her subject well. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants to start a musical talent or who wants to improve on their musical talents.
